Franklin Regional School District Excellence Award
Nomination Period OPEN
“We, the Franklin Regional School community, strive for excellence, learning, achievement, and citizenship in all we do.”
The Franklin Regional School District’s mission statement calls all of us to strive for excellence in all we do. This public statement articulates our community’s commitment to work every day to make our school more vibrant, creative, adaptable, fun, and future oriented.
The annual Excellence Awards are an opportunity for our district to publically recognize individuals or groups whose efforts embody excellence and have made a difference for a child or group of children in our district. Do you know of someone in our district who is a student, staff, administrator, parent, volunteer, member of the community, or a group that has gone above and beyond in their efforts for our children? Perhaps you know someone special to nominate…maybe a person whose quiet kindness touched a child or a group whose work helped our students to achieve excellence.
We are fortunate to be surrounded by generous, creative, and dedicated persons who make very important contributions to our educational community. The Franklin Regional Excellence Award is a way to publically recognize these contributions and honor the work that others have done. Please consider submitting one or two nominations for this award to our district committee.
To nominate someone or a group, please complete the attached form, explain why this person or group should be considered for an Excellence Award, and sign your nomination form. You will need to have your nomination seconded by another individual who will also need to sign the form.
Nominations should be returned to Karen Cadwell at our district office by Monday, February 3, 2014 at 4:00pm. The selection committee will meet in February to review all nominations and select recipients for the 2013-2014 school year.
Thank you for your efforts and please submit a nomination!
